Counting! |
This month we are exploring Counting!
Visitors can explore counting by fixing the mistakes or they can complete a number match.
Children are encouraged to explore this area independently or together with their parents or guardians.
The Activities:
Fix My Mistake
Here the goal is for children to arrange the picture cards in numerical order. There are also numerals to be arranged in the correct order. An additional challenge is to arrange items first by counting up, then by counting down.

Mistake fixed! |
The second activity is the number match.
Here the goal is for children to match the numerals to the picture card. The puff balls used in the Braille activity were so popular that they were added to the station to be used as manipulatives to help the children count!

Great idea! I've never thought of doing a "fix my mistake" problem. I'll be remembering that! I'm stopping by for the first time from the link up at Tot Tuesdays.
