Good Afternoon Library Friends!
The summer is drawing to a close and it's almost time for the return of stiff new back to school clothes, backpacks neatly packed with fresh pencils, and composition books ready to be filled with ideas and notes.

Before you get into the groove of Fall, please take a moment to read all about upcoming Lansdowne Library Youth events.

Summer Reading Things:
Usually at this time I would proudly present the number from our summer program. Unfortunately, we had a decline of participation; dropping from a total of 122 registrants to 97.
If you have not logged your books, please do so as soon as possible. If you have already, thank you for reading.
Also, there was a survey in your booklet. Your feedback is requested in an effort to continue bringing quality programs as well as because we care about what you think.

Other Summer Reading Things:
It's not too late to get great prizes from these other programs!

Barnes and Nobles is offering a free book when you read 8!
Borders is also offering a free book when you read 10!
TD Banks is giving away ten dollars when you read ten books!
Once again the Camden Riversharks have announced a special Library Night at the park and there is still space for YOU! Friday, August 27th will be our night at the park.
All participants in the Summer Reading Program are eligible for a free ticket! Parents you can get in free too! The park is holding a book drive and for every three books someone brings in, they can also receive a free ticket voucher.
