Good Afternoon Library Friends!
We are coming up on the end of week one of summer reading and it's been quite a week. This year we decided to change things up and do a week of make and take crafts as we signed up children. It was met with enthusiasm so the "sign up and make & take craft week" is a keeper.
We did crafts influenced by our new mascots, which were created by students the Art Institute of Philadelphia as part of a class project. We relied on Pinterest and used some of the ideas we pinned and we even had live worms visit us at the library.
It's been a great week and we will end it with a bang when our favorite Science Storyteller, Andrew Piccirillo, joins us for our kickoff event!
Enjoy the pictures and keep reading!
