Friday Morning Live! Presents:Habiba!

Our kickoff to Friday Morning Live was delayed a week due to the mini hurricane/ extreme weather we experienced. We were happy to welcome Habibi from the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology.

We were whisked away from our library in Lansdowne to Egypt as Habiba showed us traditional clothing worn by men and women. She shared anecdotes from her visits as well as her background with the country and the dancing.
Over 70 people enjoyed learning, practicing and watching the traditional dances!

Join us Fridays for throughout the Summer Reading Program for live entertainment.

Habiba's appearance was coordinated through a sponsorship by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, as well as the sponsorship of The University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology.
